Netrunner is a cyberpunk asymmetrical card game pitting a scrappy Runner and their suite of hacking tools against the all-powerful, all-encompassing Corp, racing to neutralize (steal) or complete (score) nefarious corporate agendas. Designed by Richard Garfield and variously compared to both chess and poker, it has evolved greatly during its 20-year-plus history and is now maintained by nonprofit community collective Null Signal Games.
If you’re curious to play an extensible card game unlike anything else on the market, come to Dogpatch Games for one of two events, or check out other Netrunner events here.
- February 4th: Learn + Play (this event): Come as you are to learn the basics of the game with the provided tutorial decks! Master the basics of running and the subtle art of finding just the right window to install and score an agenda!
- February 11th: Game Day (GNK): A day of friendly competition in the current Standard format, the most accessible and interesting Netrunner has ever been! Borrow a meta deck (while supplies last) or come with your own to play around 5 rounds of Single-Sided Swiss; if you need to, proxies are allowed at all levels of play in Netrunner. Custom art proxy prizes will be distributed to all participant, with special select versions for the top 3.
Please note that both of these events are organized and run by Netrunner community members, with facilitation from Dogpatch Games staff.
